Walking Scotlands coast.....
Morris Blair,born 1946, retired 2005.
Interests; My grandchildren, Golf, Walking ,Travel and keeping fit.
I coach adult fitness training classes at the local sports centre and
I enjoy going to the gym to keep fit and it helps to keep my weight
down.
I have walked most of the recognised ‘ways’ in Scotland as well
as some in England. In May 2008 I walked the recently opened
Kintyre Way with a group from my fitness club. (see ’Other walks’)
Walking Scotland’s coast is a wonderful experience, the natural
beauty and daily changes of scenery never cease to amaze and
inspire me.

Phil Crane. Born 1949, retired from business in 2000. (Currently the youngster of the bunch).
Interests: Family, friends, reading, basketball, football, music, cooking and walking. I am a member of the 77 Fitness Club coached by Morris and I work hard at keeping myself fit and healthy. I joined the group for my first walk from Dundee to Arbroath and was immediately hooked on coastal walking. The almost daily changes in terrain from beaches to cliff tops, the never ending variety of wildlife and not least the many friendly and interesting people we meet will undoubtedly make this adventure one of the most memorable achievements of my life. Already I have found the challenge of walking the coast extremely rewarding and unforgettable.

Billy Burke,born 1948,retired 2004,
Interests; My grandchildren, music, driving, walking, keeping fit.
I try to keep fit by attending the gym and jogging.
I enjoy travelling and have visited both America and Australia.
My favourite destinations are San Francisco, which I have visited
four times and the Grand Canyon which I visited for the first time
in 2007.
I have been lucky to see some wonderful places abroad but none
surpass the beautiful sights I have seen walking Scotland’s
coast which I would commend to everyone.
